Q5(a)
After solving the quadratic equation , a(sq)-24a+44=0, the values of 'a' would be 2 or 22. Why is it 2 instead of 22 when point A lies on the right side of the point B ? Hope that you can explain this . thank you !
For Q7(d),
What is the solution to this question ? Are we suppose to use A.maths methods to solve this question or is there another method ? Hope that you can discuss this question in class. Thank YOU !
Hi Rou Ming,
Thanks for pointing out to me Q5(a). The correct ans should be a=22. We should reject a=2 based on the diagram.
As for 7(d), the answer is 2.4 units.
There is no need to use A maths method to solve this qns. You can make use of the area of the parallelogram found in (b) and the formula for area of a parallelogram (Base Area x Perpendicular ht) to help you solve this question.
See if you can solve the question now with the above hint.
Any difficulties, I will discuss them during remedial class.
Thanks =)
See ya tml.

Hi miss ng,
for question 1(b), is it ok to write 2y = x + 4 ?
